Cooperation

We started with a small step

Not one of these systems began as a big project. Each started with a single concrete brief — and grew according to what was needed at the time.

Every click counts

The goal was maximum efficiency and automation.

Where it started

Moving off the original internal system, built when the company was founded, which had begun to hit its technical and technological limits.

How it grew

  1. 1

    Rewriting into a new environment

A clear plan to rewrite the existing functionality into a new environment with a completely new user interface. Thanks to prepared migration bridges, the new system could work with real production data.

  2. 2

    Extending every area and sub-process

Using the framework to extend the existing areas and to handle all operational processes in more detail. Great emphasis was placed on the completeness and efficiency of every sub-process implemented into the new system.

  3. 3

    Automation and connecting AI

Making the most of automating the follow-up steps and optimising the processes handled. Extended with analytical reports and connected to the company AI.

Today

The cooperation has run for more than 10 years, but it was the new system that gave the agency new ways to optimise its own processes.

A clear goal

The owners came with a precisely defined idea of how their sales, operational and accounting processes should work in a new company system.

Where it started

A complete definition of the future solution for the core business area.

How it grew

  1. 1

Moving into a centrally managed environment

With no prior knowledge of each other, the first goal was to move the existing operational area into a centrally managed environment, with maximum automation of individual processes and system-configurable checks.

  2. 2

Integrating further processes and new areas

Using the framework's new capabilities to integrate further processes and handle the follow-up steps. Implementing completely new areas for other lines of business.

  3. 3

    Continuous development, without a deadline

After successful work on the agreed goals, we moved to a cooperation based on continuous development with no time limit. Further growth of the system now depends only on what the owners need and imagine.

Today

The relationship was built gradually. Because there was never any fundamental gap between expectation and delivery, the cooperation is today pleasant and inspiring on both sides.

Keep it simple

Management asked for an application to record, manage and report on the maintenance of machinery and buildings, so that production runs without interruption.

Where it started

Moving a simple record kept by hand across a few spreadsheets. The key task was to bring the user interface, and the process itself, as close as possible to every maintenance worker.

How it grew

  1. 1

A structure built on the existing records

A system design with a clear structure, built on the existing spreadsheets. Using the development team's experience, the area was extended to the full range of data needed for later management and reporting.

  2. 2

Service planning and coordination with production

As the framework's capabilities became better known, processes for planning recurring service work were implemented, along with a layer for better coordination with production.

  3. 3

AI assistance during the intervention itself

Extending the framework with AI assistance during the intervention, connected to company and technical materials, takes the management and efficiency of maintenance to a new level. The addition of stock records is only a foretaste of the further areas the system can gradually absorb.

Today

Though maintenance is a secondary activity, the application ended up at the centre of management's attention. Working the area out in detail with the maintenance team shows how adaptable the application's interface is to every way it is used.

What they have in common

Nobody started with a big project

Everyone gave us one concrete brief — and the rest was added when there was time and reason for it. Bringing in a system does not have to mean moving the whole company and a year-long project. The first step is often a spreadsheet, replaced by something that will not get lost.
